
Liz BenderLiz began practicing yoga in 2000. Right away she realized the life changing effect yoga had on her. In 2005 she began teaching and is a registered teacher through the Yoga Alliance. As much as she loves teaching, she enjoys being a student and attends workshops whenever possible. She has had the opportunity to attend intensive workshops with David Swenson, Seane Corn, Baron Baptiste, John Friend and Rodney Yee. She had also attended seminars with Pattabhi Jois, Dharma Mittra, Richard Freeman, David Life and Sharon Gannon, Shiva Rea and Ana Forrest. Liz's classes are a slow flow linking breath and movement and connecting to body awareness. Through this physical vinyasa yoga practice, Liz, cultivates unlocking and finding the inner practice.
Chara CalderoneChara, is a certified Kripalu and Anusara inspired yoga instructor. Chara began practicing yoga in 1995 and has been teaching since 1997. As an artist, performer, and dancer, Chara combines her love of movement and self-expression into a unique yoga style that is creative, dynamic, and nurturing. She encourages and assists people in transitioning their yoga practice into everyday life. The love of mindful living lead Chara to create, Sol Path Yoga, a unique form of Yoga that focuses on 10 foundational principles that support practitioners on and off the mat. Each principle teaches a skill set and deepens the practitioner’s awareness so they may live from a place of illumination and empowerment.

Lisa DeMarcoLisa has been a certified yoga instructor since 1998. As a certified trainer and avid kick-boxer, Lisa will make sure you are stretched and toned from head to toe. Her Vinyasa Yoga flow class incorporates strong movement with an emphasis on the breath and proper form. Participants will experience a gentle opening of muscle and mind, leading into an overall yoga workout. Special attention is paid to core strengthening, balance and alignment so all practitioners can reach their potential. Most importantly, you will find Lisa always has a bright smile and likes to make the class fun!
Richard GangeRichard’s presence is grounded, kind and wise. As the Director of The Dream Life Program Series, Richard offers insight into the connection between science and spirituality. An intuitive and skilled science teacher for over 30 years, Richard fosters a supportive environment and invites students to be an active part of the learning process, allowing them to organically arrive at their own insights. Looking forward, Richard will be collaborating on creative new ways to empower people in evolving toward their highest potential through Dream Life courses, refreshers and retreats.
Peggy HynesPeggy began practicing yoga in 2004 and instantly became inspired by its healing and transforming effects. In 2006 she completed a 200 hour Teacher Training Program at LivYoga and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Peggy teaches a flow-style class cultivating alignment, personal awareness, breath and light-heartedness. She offers modifications for those who prefer a less intense stretch, yet, challenges students to work at their edge. She believes yoga is a personal journey and that it's important to listen to our bodies and allow our practice to unfold as it fits our needs. She feels yoga has guided her to continually evolve as a person inspiring her to reach her full potential.
Liz IrwinLiz is dedicated to body, mind and spiritual health through body awareness and mindfulness based therapies. Her yoga classes, therapy sessions and stress relief workshops evolve from these principles, and support clarity and healing on many levels. She began practicing yoga in 2001 with Kripalu teacher, Carl Klemme, while raising two sons and practicing law, eventually becoming a certified Kripalu yoga teacher and a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. Liz brings special elements to her practice, including trainings and certifications in yoga for depression, yoga for trauma, mindfulness meditation, yoga nidra, Anusara yoga, Thai massage, (Lotus Palm style) and kirtan. Her teaching has been influenced by the works of Michael Lee, Pema Chodron, Joel Goldsmith, Tara Brach, her many remarkable teachers, students and particularly her current teacher, Parvathi Nanda Nath Saraswati.
Jillian Keller
Jillian’s kind presence is a gift wherever she goes. Jillian began practicing yoga when she was 14 years old and continues to study and share its timeless teachings. It is due to her commitment to learning and growing that she has been able to overcome many challenges, as well as offer support for others on the path of illumination. Jillian has developed a special form of yoga called, Compassionate Yoga, which encourages practitioners to take a gentle approach. Learning to love your body, love yourself and cultivating a compassionate inner dialogue are some of the key components to her classes and workshops. She is a graduate of The American Yoga Academy and Yoga-Sutra For Life, a graduate of Healing Touch Levels 1-3, is registered with the Yoga Alliance.
When Jennifer was a child in New York, she would make weekly trips with her mother to the local yoga studio. Her mother’s love for the practice, transferred to her very quickly. Jen’s interest grew from purely mimicking the asanas to attending classes on her own to enrolling in various teacher training programs. She is certified to teach children through Karma Kids Yoga, Little Flower Yoga, and is also a certified Itsy Bitsy Baby Yoga facilitator. Jen is certified in CPR for all ages. Yoga plays an important role in children’s development. It facilitates healthy living, promotes confidence and self-esteem. When children explore the movements of their bodies, their minds discover new possibilities. Children respond positively to Jen’s teaching style and personality. Her playfulness and compassion, combined with her creativity and focus make for a safe, fun and effective learning environment. Jen is still a kid at heart and loves to witness and be part of the playful energy of children. With each and every student, Jen hopes to see them smile, succeed and enjoy the moments as they learn and grow.
Carl KlemmeCarl Klemme is an artist, yoga instructor & mystical life coach. For over twenty years, Carl, has been a devoted student of the world’s deepest spiritual traditions. Each one of Carl’s vinyasa yoga classes is an adventure in asana, breath and awareness. He is known for his unique and seamlessly choreographed posture flows that take practitioners on a journey of self-exploration. Enjoy increasing flexibility, developing strength, discovering new states of mindfullness and improving overall health.
Erin KlemmeErin’s vinyasa yoga classes combine intuitive, intelligent sequences of postures with a strong emphasis on breath and the meditation of movement. Having studied anatomy, physiology and kinesiology as a certified massage therapist, she emphasizes safe postural alignment as much as she recognizes that every posture is unique to its practitioner. Erin’s intention is for the practice of yoga to mirror life; her classes flow in waves, at times peaceful and reflective, at times exhilarating and challenging, and always, unpredictable.
John LevisJohn’s passion and contagious energy helps his students play their edge and make a meaningful correlation between their inner radiance and outer health. Students learn to thoroughly understand the postures and their benefits. Linking intention to every breath, movement and posture, his classes have a harmonious flow. Approaching the practice with a good sense of humor and natural playfulness, he encourages his students to go deep to unveil their bodies' inherent wisdom. Sarah RobinsonSarah started practicing yoga in 2003 and feels that it has transformed her life. She went on to complete her 200 hour teacher training at Liv Yoga in January of 2007 and has been teaching as a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher ever since. She has spent time studying with Dharma Mittra, Max Strom, Todd Norian, Simon Park, John Friend, Sianna Sherman, Desiree Rumbaugh, Naiime Jezzney, Raji Thron and Edward Clark. Sarah teaches a flowing yet alignment based class that emphasizes the importance of the breath. Her classes are challenging, but suitable for all levels. She believes that yoga is not just about the physical postures, but that the practice should also incorporate spiritual lessons that can be applied to everyday life. Sarah feels truly blessed to be able to fulfill what she believes is her purpose of sharing the gift of yoga with others.
Lori ScottLori has been teaching mat pilates and reformer since 2001 and was certified in each by the Physical Mind Institute and the Powerhouse Institute respectively. Lori combines classical and contemporary methods of pilates in her class along with utilizing various props to create a challenging and fun experience for all participants. Her level one pilates mat class is an excellent way to learn pilates fundamentals, develop proper technique, and to get the most benefit out of each exercise. Additionally, Lori is a yoga enthusiast who enjoys biking, walking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Patricia VidegainPatricia is a multi-lingual yoga teacher with a foundation in the Iyengar School of Yoga. Her focus is on the restorative and therapeutic benefits achieved during disciplined practice, thus drawing upon a deep understanding of yoga, meditation and anatomy to create a unique and customized experience for students. In Patricia’s Iyengar inspired class, students will increase flexibility, strength, balance, clarity and calmness. In her restorative class, students will be guided through supported poses that assist the body and mind in releasing tension and fully rejuvenating.
Penny WilliamsPenny has joined the world of holistic health and wellness after spending 20 years on wall street. She is a certified Yoga instructor at the 500 hour level, and has also been trained in the art of Chi Gong. Her Hatha Yoga classes have the added benefit of Chi Gong breathing and guided healing meditations that complement Yoga for total mind-body wellness. Penny has also trained in New York in several forms of unique exercise practices such as Yogalates and NIA. A kind heart, a nurturing voice and a love of life are some of the qualities that make Penny an extraordinary teacher and person.
Kim is a certified pilates mat and apparatus instructor certified through the Physical Mind Institute. She has been teaching locally for the past ten years. Her main emphasis is teaching the proper pilates principle of movement. She has established a following of students dedicated to achieving their highest level of ability and continues to challenge both their minds and bodies to that end.
Brian YuenBrian is a graduate of the Lotus Yoga Teacher Training program and has been teaching since January of 2007. He is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level, and is also certified for kids yoga and prenatal yoga. Brian feels blessed to have studied with wonderful teachers from various traditions, including Iyengar, Kripalu, Ashtanga and Anusara, but has since discovered that the best teachers are his students. His classes range from gentle restorative to strong vinyasa. Strength and flexibility are synchronistically developed through a meditative journey of asanas supported by alignment and propelled by breath awareness. No matter the level or pace, having fun and keeping a meditative mind are key. He can be found teaching at studios across Northern New Jersey, VA hospitals, shelters, rehabilitation facilities, and a certain orphanage in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Jenn ZimmermanJenn was introduced to pilates and yoga through dance, which she has been studying since she was 3 years old. Jenn graduated from Rider University in May 2007 with a BS in business and a BA dance. After taking a “pilates for dancers” class at the Princeton Ballet School, she benefited tremendously and started to study pilates mat, reformer, and yoga more extensively. Teaching dance for 6 years now, Jenn added teaching pilates mat, reformer, yogilates, and yoga to her repertoire at Khore in 2007. Her yogilates class integrates yoga and pilates to strengthen and stretch the body, focusing on the core muscles, in a classical way or with the use of props. Jenn especially loves to teach children, and is excited to bring the joy of yoga to pre-schoolers. Her pre-school yoga and mommy and me classes promise to bring fitness and fun together, creating an energetic atmosphere that any child would enjoy!
