What is Rethink Yoga? The Rethink Yoga style of practice is a powerful, flowing style of yoga that focuses on building core strength at an emotional, mental and physical level. Rethink Yoga combines the physical work of power yoga with the creativity and movement of a vinyasa practice. The sequencing of postures moves energy through your body to detox, refresh and rejuvenate while building heat and strength. Traditional yogic philosophy is given functional applications to offer a transformative approach that encourages students to find their personal power..

Where did ReThink Yoga Come From? Kim Shand, created the Rethink Yoga method to offer students the benefits of a strong physical practice, that can be adapted for any age and any level of experience, with the eastern and western philosophies that she studied. Kim began studying yoga at a young age and studied many different styles of practice before developing Rethink Yoga in answer to the need that she saw for students to recognize the power that they have within themselves to transform their health, their bodies and their lives.
Rethink Power: An invigorating flow class that offers a great workout, effective calorie burn, and a path to discover mental and physical freedom. Each class is an experience that combines strength, sweat, focus and philosophy. You will leave your practice energized and ready to re-enter your day with new vitality. This class is accessible to everyone regardless of age, background or experience, but it will challenge you to question what you think your limits are. Press your edge to sculpt, tone and develop muscles in your body and your mind. Get ready to take your practice seriously, but yourself lightly.
Rethink Gentle: Slow down the pace and focus on the fundamentals of your yoga practice. These classes build a foundation for new and experienced yogis alike to grow from. This class combines the sequencing method that is unique to Rethink Yoga with a meditative approach that will inspire and empower you on and off your mat.
Rethink Restorative - This class will guide you deeply inward bringing you to a final surrender into relaxation. Class begins with a slow flow to warm your body, open your joints and deepen your breath. Restorative and stretching yoga postures are then integrated and held for longer periods.
Rethink Yoga mixed levels:
A strong challenging class with variations given for strong beginners. Poses flow from one to another in sequences that build heat, create lean muscle, and increase both flexibility and balance. Special emphasis is placed on using your breath as you move from pose to pose. This is an excellent class for yogis with any amount of experience to explore your edge, discover your power and awaken your spirit.
